About the Role

Mundipharma is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Development Medical Director to lead the clinical development activities for rezafungin, a novel anti-fungal agent. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing clinical and scientific expertise in the design, execution, and interpretation of clinical studies throughout the product lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Clinical Development Activities: Provide clinical and scientific expertise in the design, execution, and interpretation of clinical studies for rezafungin.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with global clinical lead, regulatory, and other functions to ensure seamless execution of clinical development activities.
  • Provide Scientific and Clinical Expertise: Offer scientific and clinical interpretation of clinical trial results, working closely with statistical colleagues to support results interpretation for governance and other presentations.
  • Regulatory Support: Provide regulatory with scientific and clinical expertise, coordinating and writing relevant sections of regulatory documentation and submissions.
  • Personal and Professional Development: Attend and participate in appropriate training courses and external scientific/clinical conferences for personal and professional development.
Requirements
  • Relevant Medical Degree: Possess a relevant medical degree (M.B.).
  • Clinical Drug Development Experience: Demonstrate clinical drug development experience within a pharmaceutical, biotech, or academic research environment.
  • Therapy Area Knowledge: Possess therapy area knowledge of anti-infectives, which is desirable.
  • Strong Collaborative Skills: Leverage experience and knowledge within an asset team and wider R&D to drive decision-making and cross-functional alignment.
  • Problem-Solving Ability: Proven ability to problem-solve using available data and efficient literature analysis, ensuring a data-driven approach to issues resolution within the cross-functional asset team.
