Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Executive Officer to join our team as a Team Leader. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading a team of professionals in carrying out documentary functions on goods before they are cleared in to and from the United Kingdom.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Performance Management: Develop and engage your team to achieve exceptional results, ensuring high levels of productivity and efficiency.
  • Customer Service: Act as the primary point of contact for customers, providing exceptional service and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Information Gathering: Gather information directly from customers accurately and input it into systems, ensuring details are entered correctly and promptly.
  • Issue Resolution: Resolve issues/queries or escalate to a line manager as necessary, ensuring that customer concerns are addressed promptly and professionally.
Requirements
  • Communication Skills: Possess good communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with customers and team members.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrate good interpersonal skills, a flexible approach, and a positive attitude to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Administrative Skills: Possess good administrative skills, with experience working with different Microsoft packages, to efficiently manage tasks and responsibilities.
  • Availability: Be available for the full duration of your assignment, ensuring continuity and stability in your work.
  • Health and Safety: Be willing for a Health provider to assess your ability to carry out the role safely and effectively.
  • Previous Experience: Possess previous supervisor/line management experience, as well as experience within an administrative role, to effectively lead and manage a team.
  • IT Skills: Be competent in using IT, particularly MS Excel and Word, to efficiently manage tasks and responsibilities.
  • Civil Service Experience: Previous Civil service experience is seen as preferable but not essential.
