About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Knowledge Exchange Research Associate to play a vital role in raising the visibility and impact of a groundbreaking study on Hong Kong children's school readiness. This initiative, funded by the WEMP Foundation, is a collaborative effort between the University of Cambridge and local partners.

As a key member of this dynamic team, you will be responsible for translating research findings into accessible and engaging materials for diverse audiences, including teachers, policymakers, and parents. Your expertise in communication and coordination will be instrumental in fostering collaboration and driving positive change in early years education within Hong Kong.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategies to effectively communicate research findings to various stakeholders.
  • Translate key research materials, such as a book for teachers, into accessible formats.
  • Produce concise and informative briefing reports for policymakers, highlighting the implications of the study.
  • Create engaging educational videos for parents, promoting understanding of early childhood development.
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including educators, government officials, and families.

Qualifications and Skills

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Fluency in both local Chinese and English.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in teaching, science communication, or marketing would be highly advantageous.
  • A strong understanding of early childhood education principles.
  • Proven ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
