About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Physiotherapist to lead our Paediatric Physiotherapy team at County Durham & Darlington NHS Foundation Trust. As a Clinical Lead, you will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative therapy services, providing clinical supervision and training to the team, and maintaining a high standard of clinical practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Paediatric Physiotherapy team and develop strategic and operational management of the service
  • Provide clinical supervision and training to the team, and maintain a high standard of clinical practice
  • Develop and implement innovative therapy services, and participate in specific projects as directed
  • Assess, diagnose, review and develop individual care and treatment plans for children with a wide range of paediatric conditions
  • Provide specialist advice and recommendations to staff, and participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings
Requirements
  • Advanced level of physiotherapy clinical knowledge and skill within paediatrics
  • HCPC registration and CSP registration
  • Experience of working with patients and their families in delivery of physiotherapy treatment plans
  • Proven clinical experience of working with patients and their families in delivery of physiotherapy treatment plans
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to work under pressure
