Position Overview:
Christ The King Residential Care Homes is seeking a qualified and experienced Mental Health Care Home Supervisor to oversee operations at our care facility.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the daily operations of the care home, ensuring compliance with all regulations.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for prospective residents and their families, providing necessary information and conducting visits.
  • Evaluate potential residents' needs and negotiate care fees accordingly.
  • Ensure that new residents and their representatives understand the management's roles and responsibilities.
  • Address and resolve complaints, reporting findings to the appropriate authorities.
  • Collaborate with regulatory inspectors during assessments.

Resident Care:
  • Recognize and meet the emotional, physical, and medical needs of residents.
  • Support residents in making lifestyle choices.
  • Develop individualized care plans in collaboration with residents and their families.
  • Encourage community involvement for residents.
  • Oversee healthcare arrangements, including medication management.
  • Ensure high standards of hygiene, food preparation, and dietary needs are met.
  • Provide end-of-life care under professional guidance.

Staff Management:
  • Assist in the recruitment and training of staff.
  • Facilitate effective communication among staff members.
  • Conduct staff supervision and training assessments.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws.
  • Organize staff schedules.

Facility Management:
  • Report maintenance issues and ensure the safety of the premises.
  • Ensure compliance with fire safety regulations.
  • Adhere to health and safety standards.
  • Provide guidance on safe working practices.

Financial Oversight:
  • Monitor daily expenditures within budget constraints.
  • Prepare financial reports and maintain accurate records.
  • Support residents in managing their financial affairs.
  • Ensure proper handling of residents' finances when necessary.

Professional Development:
  • Encourage ongoing staff training and development.
  • Participate in relevant training and research initiatives.

Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent.

Salary Range: £39,000.00 to £47,000.00 per year.
