Job Title: Registered Mental Health Nurse

Location: Willing Care

Job Type: Full-time

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Salary: £36,000 - £38,000 per annum

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our team at Willing Care. As a Mental Health Care Specialist, you will work within a dynamic and supportive environment to provide high-quality care to adults who require acute and secure mental health services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and develop individualized care plans to ensure the best possible outcomes for our clients.
  • Administer medication and monitor responses to treatment, ensuring the highest standards of care and safety.
  • Provide therapeutic interventions and support to individuals experiencing acute mental health crises, promoting a safe and supportive environment.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective care coordination and delivery of high-quality services.
  • Advocate for and empower clients to participate in their own care and decision-making, promoting autonomy and self-advocacy.
  • Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of all care provided, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Current registration with the UK NMC and a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) qualification.
  • Solid understanding of mental health conditions and evidence-based interventions.
  • Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions in high-pressure, fast-paced environments.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Commitment to promoting diversity, equality, and inclusion in all aspects of care delivery.
  • Experience in acute and secure mental health settings is preferred.
