Major Recruitment Oldbury is pleased to announce an opportunity for a skilled Inventory Analyst to join a dynamic small to medium-sized enterprise.

The working hours are Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with complimentary on-site parking available.



Key Responsibilities:
As an Inventory Analyst, you will oversee all facets of demand forecasting and inventory control for our product range.
Your role will encompass evaluating current inventory levels, pending orders, and future stock needs, all driven by the analysis of sales data from centralized automated reporting systems.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining order analysis documentation using Microsoft Excel.
  • Generating Stock Commitments for clients.
  • Creating cost analysis reports.

Ideal candidates will possess the following qualifications:

  • A collaborative mindset, capable of working independently as well as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • A passion for spreadsheets and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Ability to comprehend and construct intricate Excel spreadsheets, including pivot tables and data transfers from centralized systems.
  • Experience with Excel functions such as VLOOKUP and logical operations.
  • Self-motivated in learning new formulas to enhance efficiency in workload management.
  • Capability to present information clearly across various formats (PowerPoint, Excel, in-person).
  • Enjoyment of multitasking and adaptability to shifting priorities.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with a commitment to maintaining up-to-date records.
  • Strong communication abilities.
