We are seeking a highly skilled Supply & Inventory Analyst to join our team at CRC Evans, a leading provider of coating and welding services.
The successful candidate will be responsible for working within the Supply Chain / Warehouse functions to develop and implement robust systems for inventory control and efficient processing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain inventory control systems to ensure accurate tracking and reporting of stock levels.
- Collaborate with the wider supply chain and project teams to maximize efficiency of stock movements within the warehouse area.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date SKU-related master data.
- Work closely with the Engineering Department to create, maintain, and update bills of materials.
- Support the New Product Introduction (NPI) process to ensure smooth product launches.
- Share and support best practices for warehouse transformation to drive continuous improvement.
- Support the directional flow of materials and products within the organization.
- Report on opportunity, risk, E&O, working capital turns, trends, and other key metrics to key stakeholders.
- Develop and execute demand planning processes to maximize service and minimize cost.
- Analyze trends, review forecast exceptions, and create a robust demand plan to drive business results.
- Understand and become an expert on stocking policy and product life cycle management.
- Ensure inventory exceptions are reviewed and addressed to minimize stockouts and obsolete stock.
- Develop and execute monthly stock and pallet forecasts to drive business results.
- Analyze inventory changes and provide recommendations to achieve stock targets, reduce overstocks, and improve inventory days.
- Lead projects for continuous improvement and support the Supply Chain Manager on other projects.
- Identify improvement opportunities and drive process changes to drive business results.
- Identify and resolve gaps within the ERP and forecasting system and conduct periodic audits.
- Develop and maintain monthly reporting across the supply chain, including reports and dashboards for the department.
Requirements:
- Good general education, including GCSE in Math's & English grade A-C.
- Demonstrable experience of working in similar stock/material control and/or inventory management roles.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to make timely, effective, fact-based decisions.
- Good communication skills and ability to work unsupervised.
- Extensive knowledge of SAP.
- Supply Chain Accreditation (APICS) is not essential.
- Numeracy skills and experience with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to develop collaborative relationships across multiple functions within an organization.
