We are seeking a highly skilled Supply & Inventory Analyst to join our team at CRC Evans, a leading provider of coating and welding services.
The successful candidate will be based in Burnley, UK and will play a key role in supporting the development of robust systems for inventory control and efficient processing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain inventory management systems to ensure accurate tracking and reporting of stock levels.
- Collaborate with the supply chain and project teams to optimize stock movements and improve efficiency.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date SKU-related master data.
- Work closely with the Engineering Department to create, maintain, and update bills of materials.
- Support the New Product Introduction (NPI) process to ensure smooth product launches.
- Share best practices for warehouse transformation and continuous improvement.
- Provide regular reporting to key stakeholders on opportunity, risk, E&O, working capital turns, and trends.
- Develop and execute demand planning processes to maximize service and minimize cost.
- Analyze trends, review forecast exceptions, and create robust demand plans.
- Understand and implement stocking policy and product life cycle management.
- Review and resolve inventory exceptions to minimize stockouts and obsolete stock.
- Develop and execute monthly stock and pallet forecasts.
- Analyze inventory changes and provide recommendations to achieve stock targets.
- Lead projects for continuous improvement and support the Supply Chain Manager on other projects.
Requirements:
- Good general education including GCSE in Math's & English grade A-C.
- Demonstrable experience of working in similar stock/material control and/or inventory management roles.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Capable of working unsupervised.
- Extensive knowledge of SAP.
- Supply Chain Accreditation (APICS) – not essential.
- Numeracy skills and experience with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
