We are seeking a highly skilled Supply & Inventory Analyst to join our team at CRC Evans, a leading provider of coating and welding services.
The successful candidate will be based in Burnley, UK and will play a key role in supporting the development of robust systems for inventory control and efficient processing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Supply Chain / Warehouse functions to develop and implement inventory control systems.
- Build strong relationships with the wider supply chain & project teams to maximize efficiency of stock movements.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date SKU related master data.
- Work closely with the Engineering Dept to create, maintain, and update bills of materials.
- Support the NPI process (New Product Introduction) and share best practices for Warehouse transformation.
- Ensure the directional flow of materials and products is optimized.
- Report on opportunity / risk, E&O, Working Capital Turns, Trends, etc. to key stakeholders.
- Execute the demand planning process and analyze trends to create a robust demand plan.
- Develop expertise in stocking policy and product life cycle management.
- Review inventory exceptions and take appropriate action to minimize stock outs and obsolete stock.
- Execute the monthly stock and pallet forecast and analyze inventory changes to provide recommendations.
- Lead projects for continuous improvements and support the Supply Chain Manager on other projects.
- Identify improvement opportunities and drive process changes.
- Identify and resolve gaps within the ERP and forecasting system and run periodic audits.
- Develop reports and dashboards for the department.
Requirements:
- Good general education including GCSE in Math's & English grade A-C.
- Demonstrable experience of working in similar stock/material control and/or inventory management role/s.
- Excellent problem solving/decision making skills and ability to make timely, effective, fact-based decisions.
- Good communicator and capable of working unsupervised.
- Extensive knowledge of SAP.
- Supply Chain Accreditation (APICS) – not essential.
- Numeracy skills and experience with Microsoft outlook, excel & word.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to develop collaborative relationships across multiple functions within an organization.
