Occasional travel will be necessary to support HR colleagues across various regions, and having personal transport is essential.

This role also involves supporting another company within the Smart Solutions Group - Smart Workforce Solutions (England), which specializes in providing temporary staffing solutions to the industrial and logistics sectors.

Key Responsibilities

The Human Resources Administrator will manage a comprehensive range of HR administrative tasks. Responsibilities include recruitment, onboarding, payroll processing, employee changes, training coordination, family-friendly leave management, terminations, Statutory Sick Pay, and various ad-hoc projects in support of both Smart Environmental Support Services (UK) and Smart Workforce Solutions (England).

The post holder will ensure service continuity during team absences.

Main Duties Include:

  • Managing employment records
  • Maintaining accurate documentation
  • Data entry tasks
  • Responding to inquiries from managers and employees via the central HR inbox, as well as from external agencies
  • Taking meeting minutes
  • Communicating with internal and external stakeholders
  • Assisting in organizing and supervising the maintenance of departmental records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum of 1 year of HR administration experience
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Strong customer service skills
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • CIPD qualified (by experience)
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with processing Statutory Sick Pay
  • Capable of managing high volumes of data accurately and meeting deadlines
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Possession of a valid and clean driving license with access to a personal vehicle
