About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Microsoft Licensing Expert to join our team at Crayon. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional customer experiences and ensuring our clients have the correct licenses under the appropriate agreements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Licensing Expertise: Provide in-depth licensing advice and guidance to our sales teams, ensuring accurate pricing and quotes for Microsoft products.
  • Customer Management: Manage Microsoft Enterprise customers, providing licensing expertise, quotes, and true-up support for both new and existing clients.
  • Licensing Strategy: Collaborate with customers to address licensing needs and identify service opportunities, driving business growth and expansion.
  • Internal Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to advise on licensing, pricing, amendments, and concessions, ensuring seamless collaboration and effective communication.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience with Microsoft software licensing (SAM-based or sales equivalent)
  • Solid business acumen and ability to translate technical requirements into business terms
  • In-depth understanding of Microsoft Licensing programs, tools (Explore.ms, Poet – Partner Self-Service), and platforms
  • Operations processes for transacting Microsoft Volume Licensing
