Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Community Mental Health Consultant to join our team at Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive old age psychiatry services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the provision of a comprehensive old age psychiatry service to the community mental health team.
  • Continuing clinical responsibility for patients in your charge, with proper delegation to and training of staff accountable to you.
  • Actively liaise with primary care, social services, and other sectors to facilitate patient care.
  • Participate in clinical audit and contribute to teaching meetings, including case presentations and journal club discussions.
  • Develop and deliver undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and training relevant to this post.
Requirements
  • MB BS or equivalent medical qualification.
  • Qualification or higher degree in medical education, clinical research, or management.
