Assistant Store Manager

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Every Step Recruitment, Sales & Marketing in Reading. As a key member of our store leadership team, you will play a vital role in supporting the daily operations of the store, overseeing a small team, and delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:- Store Operations: Assist the Store Manager in monitoring and managing all store areas and team members to achieve KPIs and deliver excellent customer service.
- Team Leadership: Take full responsibility of all store areas and team members in the absence of the Store Manager and perform operational tasks as required.
- Recruitment and Performance: Support the Store Manager in the recruiting process, staff planning, and performance measurement.
- Performance Targets: Drive the team to achieve the store's performance targets and KPIs.
- Customer Service: Deliver exceptional customer service to build a loyal customer base.
- Operational Excellence: Drive the use of all available tools and ensure procedures are executed and policies followed.
- Experience: Previous experience in a similar management role, ideally within a fashion retail environment.
- Customer Service: Exceptional customer service skills.
- Leadership: Excellent leadership and people management skills to lead, motivate, train, and develop the team.
- Adaptability: Ability to be flexible and adaptable to the needs of the business.
- Commercial Acumen: Strong commercial acumen and brand knowledge.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills at all levels, both written and verbal.
