About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Client Service Team Leader to lead, train, and support a team of client service professionals in delivering best-in-class service to our commercial clients.

The ideal candidate will have a strong commercial insurance background, excellent influencing, listening, and communication skills, and the ability to empathize with clients and team members.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating and managing high-quality client service relating to personal and commercial insurance products
  • Coaching and developing team members to achieve personal development plan objectives
  • Ensuring team members attend relevant personal development courses
  • Attracting, developing, and retaining talented individuals
  • Creating a positive, motivational, and enthusiastic working environment
  • Building and maintaining a strong understanding of products and offerings
  • Driving change through the business and allocating resources as needed
  • Liaising with staff to ensure compliant and robust business transactions
  • Ensuring file reviews and technical audits are carried out
  • Ensuring contract certainty and compliance across the office

Key skills and experience required include:

  • Experience working in a commercial insurance environment in a comparable role
  • Management experience is desirable, but the right attitude and willingness to train and support are essential
  • Insurance qualifications preferred but not essential
  • Solid understanding of insurance market dynamics
  • Good influencing, listening, and communication skills
