Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and resolve technical issues and support requests in a timely and professional manner
  • Provide proactive monitoring of systems and suppliers to identify potential issues
  • Collaborate with resolver groups and suppliers to ensure resolution time is met
  • Communicate effectively with clients, providing regular updates on the status of their issues
  • Engage with clients to gather feedback and identify opportunities for service improvement
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies to ensure expertise in Microsoft Exchange, Active Directory, Windows Server & Desktop, SQL Server, and VMWare
Requirements
  • Strong customer service focus with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven problem-solving skills with a strong analytical and trend analysis background
  • Flexible approach to work with the ability to work effectively under pressure
  • Positive and professional attitude
  • Experience in managing/troubleshooting Windows Desktop Operating Systems, Microsoft Exchange, Active Directory, Windows Server & Desktop, SQL Server, and VMWare
  • Knowledge of Networking (DNS, DHCP, PING, TRACERT, NETSTAT, NBTSTAT, TELNET, FTP, FTPS, SFTP)
  • Desired skills in Microsoft System Centre, SharePoint, and other Microsoft solutions
Desirable Qualifications
  • Experience working in a pressurized customer-focused Service Desk within an ITIL-based environment
  • Business to business (B2B) experience
  • ServiceNow, Remedy, or a similar ITSM toolset experience
  • ITIL Foundation (V3 or V4)
