Salter Grange is actively seeking a Senior Planner to become a vital part of a well-established, financially robust Tier One Contractor with an extensive portfolio of projects valued at approximately £500m+ across the residential, commercial, and healthcare sectors in the London area.

This position presents a remarkable opportunity to engage with a vibrant and expanding organization boasting a turnover of £1.5B. As a Senior Planner, you will be instrumental in the successful delivery of prominent projects, managing timelines from initiation through to completion. Your contributions will significantly influence the development of some of the industry's most esteemed projects.

Key Responsibilities of the Senior Planner:

  • Utilizing Primavera P6 or ASTA PowerProject for Project Planning
  • Establishing Project Controls Systems tailored to specific projects
  • Creating Work Breakdown Structures (WBS)
  • Implementing Progress Measurement Systems (PMS)
  • Formulating the Schedule, S-Curves, and Manpower Histograms
  • Cost Loading of Programs as necessary
  • Executing the Project Controls system
  • Measuring progress for all works, including Direct & Sub-Contract
  • Monitoring labor hours and analyzing labor efficiencies
  • Updating the Schedule in Primavera/ASTA
  • Tracking Systems Turnover
  • Monitoring delays and client notifications as needed
  • Providing Monthly Project Reports to Senior Management
  • Compiling Project Reports

Qualifications for the Senior Planner:

  • 7-10 years of experience in a comparable role
  • Relevant degree or diploma
  • Advanced training in Asta Powerproject, focusing on Progress Analysis & S-curve reporting
  • Advanced training in Primavera P6, emphasizing cost and resource management
  • Strong understanding of contract frameworks, including JCT and NEC forms
