Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Senior Construction Planner to join our team. As a key member of our planning department, you will be responsible for providing expert planning services and advice to our construction, estimating, and surveying teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the planning and production control processes to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.
- Develop and maintain accurate project timelines, resource allocation plans, and performance reports.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement efficient construction solutions.
- Analyze project performance and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Coordinate with suppliers and stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
- Represent the company in meetings with clients and main contractors.
- Develop and maintain project documentation, including reports and submissions.
- Provide guidance and support to junior planning team members.
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction planning, with a strong understanding of project management principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
- Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel, and planning software (Asta PowerProject).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
- Commercial awareness and understanding of the construction industry.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to meet business needs.
