About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Estates Officer to join our team at NHS Scotland. As an Estates Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and estates.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate maintenance and repair work across our estates, ensuring that all work is carried out safely and efficiently.
  • Develop and implement projects to improve the condition and functionality of our facilities, working closely with contractors and in-house teams.
  • Provide excellent customer service to our staff and patients, responding promptly to queries and concerns.
  • Work collaboratively with other teams to ensure that our estates and facilities meet the needs of our patients and staff.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to estates and facilities management.
Requirements
  • Experience of managing maintenance and repair work, including coordinating contractors and in-house teams.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff at all levels.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to work.
  • Current UK driving licence and willingness to travel to sites across NHS Scotland.
  • Recognised qualifications in a relevant field, such as construction, maintenance, or facilities management.
