While previous experience in complex care is advantageous, it is not mandatory as comprehensive tailored clinical training will be provided.

You should be committed to delivering the highest standard of care to our clients, fostering positive relationships with them and their families, and empowering them to maintain as much independence as possible within the comfort of their own environment.

Our client is a lively 5-year-old girl residing in a nurturing family setting who requires assistance with her intricate care needs throughout the day and night.

She is a cheerful and content child who thrives on interaction with her family and care team, especially during playtime activities. She enjoys engaging with musical toys, listening to music, and watching her favorite cartoons.

Key Responsibilities

During the day, you will ensure that all her care requirements are met, providing assistance with personal care, mobility support, being attentive to her needs, and addressing her clinical care requirements as necessary. You will engage her through play, promote her learning and development, and ensure she has the appropriate resources to flourish.

Throughout the night, you will assist with her personal care, repositioning, remaining vigilant to her needs, making clinical observations, and attending to her clinical care requirements as necessary. You will create a tranquil environment, offering comfort and reassurance to promote a restful night's sleep.

Our client has specifically requested female staff to join their care team.

We have the following shift options available:

  • Full-Time Night Shifts - 3 Shifts Per Week
  • 9:00 PM - 7:00 AM
  • Alternate weekends are essential for this position
  • Part-Time Day Shifts
  • 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM during Term Time
  • 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM during Non-Term Time

Compensation

Take a look at our competitive pay rates:

  • Weekdays: £ per hour (Approx. £ per 8-hour shift)
  • Weeknights: £ per hour (Approx. £145 per 10-hour shift)
  • Saturdays: £ per hour (Approx. £ per 10-hour shift)
  • Sundays: £ per hour (Approx. £ per 10-hour shift)
  • Bank Holidays: £ per hour (Approx. £ per 10-hour shift)

Job Responsibilities

The role of a Healthcare Assistant (HCA) involves working independently in the home of the client, providing care and support that includes personal, social, and domestic assistance while adhering to the individual care and support plan.

The objective of this position is to enable clients to remain safely in their own homes with as much independence as possible.

In addition to providing care and support in a professional, discreet, and compassionate manner, it is essential to always respect the client's right to privacy and dignity.
