Associate/Technical Director - Lead Tunnel Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Associate/Technical Director to lead our Tunnelling team at Evan Craig. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for delivering high-profile projects across various sectors, including energy, transport, and water.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to a team of engineers, scientists, and designers
  • Develop and implement project plans, ensuring timely submission of deliverables and effective commercial management
  • Collaborate with the Board and Engineering Design Practice Lead to inform strategic company decisions
  • Contribute to the growth and development of professional staff through training, direction, and feedback

Requirements:

  • Strong academic background with postgraduate qualifications in civil engineering
  • Chartered Status in civil or structural engineering and membership of professional bodies
  • Proven experience in a fast-paced engineering consultancy environment
  • Excellent commercial track record and skills in BIM and other design software
