Job Title: Logistics Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our team at Howco Group plc.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Arrange transport for export customers, ensuring timely delivery of customer orders.
  2. Coordinate the import entry and uplift from the supply chain.
  3. Prepare and file documentation related to shipments as required.
  4. Develop and maintain documentation to meet customer and HMRC requirements.
  5. Liaise with customers and freight forwarders to arrange shipping and achieve cost-effective shipments.
  6. Collaborate with other departments to ensure orders are on schedule for timely delivery.
  7. Provide customers with relevant documentation prior to and after despatch.

Requirements:

  1. Excellent planning, organizational, and communication skills with attention to detail.
  2. Demonstrated diagnostic skills.
  3. Strong understanding of customer requirements.
  4. Effective communication and influencing skills.
  5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  6. Positive attitude and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
  8. Capacity for development and improvement.

  1. Prioritize workload effectively.
  2. Meet deadlines, targets, and timelines.

Job Requirements and Qualifications:

  1. Strong administration skills.
  2. Understanding of import and export entries.
  3. Knowledge of import/export procedures and required documentation.
  4. Knowledge of manufacturing environments.
