Reed, a leading recruitment agency, has partnered with a professional services business in the UK to recruit a Sales Executive for a full-time, permanent position. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating new business leads and converting them into sales.

As a Sales Executive, you will receive comprehensive product and sales training to ensure your success in this role. The ideal candidate will have a background in sales, preferably in the insurance industry, with a minimum of 12 months of experience.

The working hours will be 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with a flexible schedule that allows you to work from home or in the office. You will be expected to be in the office 4 days a week, with the option to work from home 1 day a week after completing your training.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Proactively follow up with customers who have expressed interest in purchasing a new product and convert leads into sales.
  2. Follow up on leads supplied by the company and convert them into sales.
  3. Follow up on all sales leads generated through website inquiries and convert them into sales.
  4. Perform administrative tasks for new and existing customers.
  5. Handle customer inquiries and provide excellent customer service.
  6. Take direct debit details and complete new business application forms over the phone.
  7. Create new business leads within the company's CRM system.
  8. Input data accurately and promptly to ensure customer records are up to date.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A minimum of 12 months of sales experience.
  • A background in the insurance industry, preferably in life insurance, brokerage, or a related field.
