Job Title: Front Office Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Front Office Manager to join our team at voco Edinburgh Royal Terrace. As a Front Office Manager, you will be responsible for leading the Front Desk team in delivering exceptional guest experiences, managing the front office operations, and ensuring that our hotel's high standards are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Front Desk Team: Manage and motivate the Front Desk team to deliver exceptional guest experiences, ensuring that all guests receive a warm and welcoming service.
  • Manage Front Office Operations: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Front Office, including managing the front desk, handling guest complaints, and ensuring that all front office systems and procedures are followed.
  • Manage Guest Experiences: Ensure that all guests receive a personalized and exceptional service, from check-in to check-out, and that their needs are met throughout their stay.
  • Manage Front Office Budget: Manage the front office budget, ensuring that all expenses are within budget and that the team is working efficiently to minimize costs.
  • Develop and Implement Processes: Develop and implement processes to improve front office operations, including guest service, front desk management, and budget management.
  • Train and Develop Team Members: Train and develop team members to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Requirements:

  • Previous Experience: Previous experience as a Front Office Manager or in a similar role is required.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team to deliver exceptional results.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with guests, team members, and other departments.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve guest complaints and issues in a professional and efficient manner.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in front office systems and procedures, including property management systems and guest service software.
