A day in the life of
As Front Office Manager you will lead the Front Office operation, always ensuring the delivery of an exceptional guest experience and ensuring all customer enquiries and requests for bookings are dealt with promptly, courteously, and efficiently, always achieving the best revenue streams. You will also oversee all recruitment and continual development of the front office team ensuring departmental objectives for the team are set and feedback is provided on a regular basis.
Based in the Mount Royal Hotel, you will be part of a team of passionate people who know that being the best doesnt always mean working around the clock.
Newly refurbished for 2024, the Mount Royal Hotel will be our flagship property based on Princes Street, Edinburgh. An excellent choice for both tourists and locals to enjoy the splendour of Edinburgh.
What do we need from you?
To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will have at least 2 years experiences in a supervisor or managerial role, ideally in a branded hospitality environment. You must be computer literate and have a sound knowledge of finances and exceptional customer service. Experience using a central reservations system would be beneficial.
