We are seeking a skilled and experienced Dental Practitioner to join our team in providing emergency and urgent care to patients in need. As an integral part of our Out of Hours Emergency Dental Service, you will be working closely with our team to deliver high-quality care to patients who have accessed the service via the dental triage process.
Key Responsibilities- Provide emergency and urgent dental care to patients as defined by the Band 1 urgent treatment NHS guidance.
- Work as part of a small clinical team in a dental surgery at Barrow Dental Centre.
- Manage and prioritize your workload to ensure efficient delivery of care.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- BDS or equivalent qualification.
- Dental Foundation Training completed (or equivalence achieved).
- NHS England Performer List registration.
- Minimum of two years' experience working 'unsupervised' as a dentist in NHS Primary Care dentistry.
- Previous experience working in emergency dental services.
- Knowledge of SDCEP and FGDP(UK) guidance around prescribing in dental practice.
- Training in the identification, management, and treatment of urgent and emergency dental care clinical presentations.
