About the Role

We are seeking an experienced dentist to join our team of clinicians participating in the Out of Hours Emergency Dental Service at Barrow Dental Centre.

The successful candidate will provide emergency and urgent care to patients who have been triaged by trained dental care professionals and NHS111.

This role is ideal for dentists who wish to contribute to the provision of emergency and urgent care to the local population and develop their skills in this area.

Main Responsibilities

  • To provide emergency and urgent dental care to patients who have accessed the service via the dental triage process.
  • To work as part of a small clinical team in a dental surgery at Barrow Dental Centre.

Requirements

  • BDS or equivalent qualification.
  • Dental Foundation Training completed (or equivalence achieved).
  • NHS England Performer List registration.
  • Minimum of two years' experience working as a dentist in NHS Primary Care dentistry.
