About the Role

We are seeking an experienced dentist to join our team of emergency dental practitioners at Barrow Dental Centre. As a Primary Care Dental Officer, you will provide emergency and urgent care to patients who have accessed the service via the dental triage process.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide emergency and urgent dental care to patients who have accessed the service via the dental triage process
  • Work as part of a small clinical team in a dental surgery at Barrow Dental Centre
  • Manage your own workload and prioritize tasks effectively

Requirements

  • BDS or equivalent qualification
  • Dental Foundation Training completed (or equivalence achieved)
  • NHS England Performer List registration
  • Minimum of two years' experience working as a dentist in NHS Primary Care dentistry

What We Offer

We offer a competitive sessional rate with enhancements for bank holidays, as well as the opportunity to develop and enhance your skills in emergency and urgent care. You will be working as part of a small clinical team in a dental surgery at Barrow Dental Centre, with patients triaged in advance by call handlers and trained dental nurses in partner organisations.
