Emergency Dentist for Out of Hours Service

About the Role

North Cumbria Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust is seeking to recruit experienced dentists to join our team of professionals participating in the Out of Hours Emergency Dental Service. This service provides emergency and urgent care to patients who have been initially triaged by trained dental care professionals and NHS111.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide emergency and urgent dental care to patients who have accessed the service via the dental triage process.
  • Work as part of a small clinical team in a dental surgery at Barrow Dental Centre.

Requirements

  • BDS or equivalent qualification.
  • Dental Foundation Training completed (or equivalence achieved).
  • NHS England Performer List registration.
  • Minimum of two years' experience working 'unsupervised' as a dentist in NHS Primary Care dentistry.
