Job Title: Principal Noise and Vibration Engineer

QinetiQ Maritime Land and Weapons is seeking a highly skilled Principal Noise and Vibration Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Noise and Vibration Team, you will be responsible for leading technical innovation and research related to the development of new technologies to continually develop our capability offering.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the principal technical subject matter expert in the R&D domain and represent the company at customer meetings, stakeholder forums, etc.
  • Lead technical innovation and research related to the development of new technologies (algorithms, models and databases) to continually develop the Noise and Vibration Team capability offering.
  • Strengthen current international collaboration and engagement with academia and seek out new mutually beneficial partnerships.
  • Collaborate closely with other similar synergy disciplines across QinetiQ.
  • Provide technical leadership for large scale and high complexity Noise and Vibration projects
Requirements:
  • The Principal Noise and Vibration Engineer must have substantial experience in a similar domain.
  • You must have an Undergraduate degree in an engineering, maths, science or related technical subject.
