About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Noise and Vibration Specialist to join our team at QinetiQ. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise in noise and vibration analysis and mitigation.
Key Responsibilities
- Support project teams in solving complex noise and vibration problems for our customers.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure customer requirements are met according to specified quality, cost, and time requirements.
- Operate safely and with awareness of compliance with health, safety, security, and environmental requirements.
- Promote technical innovation and research related to new technologies and applications within the noise and vibration domain.
Requirements
- An undergraduate degree in a relevant Science or Engineering subject or a relevant qualification (HNC, HND or NVQ) plus proven experience.
- Familiarity with naval platforms and experience operating within maritime engineering, trials, or test and evaluation environments.
- Proven experience with data science, modelling, analysis, acoustics, or physics, and proficiency with relevant software for signal processing, modelling, or analysis such as MATLAB, LabVIEW, and Python.
