Position Overview
We are seeking a qualified Social Practitioner who is eager to enhance their professional skills. In this role, you will encounter diverse challenges daily, working with individuals who have complex needs. You will be part of the Allegations and Risk team, collaborating closely with experienced practitioners and a manager, while managing a manageable caseload and engaging with various partner agencies.

This specialized position focuses on supporting clients with multiple, intricate needs that pose risks to themselves and others. This may include individuals with Acquired Brain Injury (ABI), Autism Spectrum Disorders, forensic backgrounds, complex Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), substance abuse issues, and those transitioning from long-term care.

Key Responsibilities
As a Social Practitioner, your duties will include:
- Promoting innovative approaches to understanding the complexities of high-risk needs and their impact on individuals and their support networks.
- Providing guidance to broader teams in navigating the challenges associated with complex cases.
- Participating in risk assessment meetings and fulfilling any additional responsibilities as required.
- Engaging directly with service users, their families, and communities under the supervision of the Allegations and Risk Manager.

Candidate Profile
We are looking for a qualified social worker who meets the following criteria:
- Registered with Social Work England.
- Experienced in conducting assessments with a strong focus on safeguarding.
- Committed to delivering high-quality services and making a positive difference.

Requirements
To excel in this role, you will need:
- Registration with Social Work England.
- In-depth knowledge of relevant legal frameworks in Adult Social Work.
- Experience in mentoring or supporting new social workers is advantageous but not mandatory, as we will provide support for this development.
- Eligibility to work in the UK and a valid UK driving license.
