The company is seeking an experienced solicitor or barrister to join its Corporate Legal Affairs team as the lead on all things Anti-Bribery and Corruption (ABC), ethics, and compliance.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Work with the Corporate Affairs, Legal, and Compliance teams to design and maintain compliance programs.
  • Provide legal support on compliance and ethics matters across the business.
  • Manage legal risks and provide guidance on risk mitigation measures.
  • Support product safety and health and safety matters.
  • Provide commercially focused legal advice to internal stakeholders.
  • Advise on interacting with regulators and government bodies.
  • Support the company's leadership in preparing regulatory reports and filings.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation.
Requirements:
  • A strong background in compliance and ethics, including Anti-Bribery and Corruption and internal investigations.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to analyze complex legal and regulatory issues and provide practical solutions.
  • Strong drive to support the business and add value to the services delivered by the Corporate Legal Affairs team.

A UK Qualified Solicitor or Barrister is essential. Experience in health and safety matters, familiarity with the defence, aviation, manufacturing, or technology sectors, and in-house experience are advantageous but not essential. Hybrid working is available from one of a number of UK sites.
