Property Lettings Consultant

About the Role
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a skilled and ambitious Lettings Negotiator to become part of our expanding department in Ringwood. Reporting directly to the Sales & Lettings Manager, the Lettings Negotiator will oversee the complete property letting process and manage retirement apartments nationwide.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
Conducting market appraisals, including generating and scheduling appointmentsArranging and following up on property viewingsNegotiating optimal rental terms for our landlordsKeeping landlords informed about the marketing progress of their propertiesExpanding our portfolio of available and rented propertiesCollaborating closely with Lodge/Development Managers and ContractorsPreparing and managing all documentation for new tenancies, renewals, and terminationsProcessing rental payments and contractor invoicesConducting bank reconciliationsProviding property management services for our fully managed portfolioCoordinating EICR's, EPC's, inventories, and ensuring compliance with all legal requirementsCommunicating the lifestyle advantages of Retirement Living and other unique selling pointsCreating marketing materials for each propertyIn addition to the above responsibilities, the job holder may be assigned other tasks by the Sales & Lettings Manager as needed.
Office hours are Monday to Thursday, 09:00 to 17:30 and Friday, 09:00 to 17:00.
About You
This position is ideal for a driven, successful, and experienced Lettings Negotiator eager to join a forward-thinking and supportive organization. Previous experience in lettings and/or property management is essential, along with a solid understanding of current legislation. Comprehensive training and support will be provided, along with opportunities to obtain professional qualifications (ARLA/CELA).
Our new team member will play a crucial role in our lettings department, so effective communication skills, self-motivation, organization, and a strong drive to meet and exceed targets are essential. As a customer service professional, you will be committed to going above and beyond to assist our landlords and tenants.
You should possess excellent computer skills, with proficiency in MS Office applications and a high standard of written and spoken English.
