Position Overview

As an Ecommerce Allocation Specialist, you'll play a vital role in ensuring seamless inventory management and optimal customer experience within our dynamic retail environment. You'll leverage your analytical skills and commercial acumen to drive sales growth and enhance brand visibility.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Maintain exceptional product availability across all channels, ensuring accurate stock levels and optimal in-store/online presentation to maximize customer satisfaction and sales performance.
  • Develop comprehensive reporting capabilities for inventory management, including availability trends, DC coverage, out-of-stock analysis, and future delivery volume projections. This data will inform strategic decision-making and optimize inventory allocation.
  • Integrate Private Store Ecommerce transactions into all operational processes, ensuring seamless data flow across reporting, allocation, and availability management.
  • Collaborate with planning teams to implement commercial strategies and ensure effective communication regarding price fluctuations, promotions, and volume adjustments. Your insights will contribute to a cohesive and data-driven approach to inventory management.
  • Analyze daily/weekly sales reports and propose actionable recommendations to divisional product planners, driving continuous improvement in inventory optimization and sales performance.
  • Actively manage SKU count, ensuring the efficient allocation and sale of existing inventory. Collaborate with buying teams to rationalize the product range and minimize obsolete stock.
  • Ensure a smooth flow of inventory between distribution centers, retail stores, and customers, resolving any technical issues promptly and efficiently.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve operational processes, identifying areas for enhancement and implementing best practices within the Ecommerce allocation framework.

Experience, Skills & Knowledge

  • Proven experience in retail business systems related to allocations, logistics, and Ecommerce operations.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • A proactive and results-oriented mindset with a commitment to exceeding performance targets.
