About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Desktop Loss Adjuster to join our team at Davies Group. As a key member of our Loss Adjusting team, you will play a critical role in handling claims of varying complexity and value in an efficient and timely manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Investigate and assess claims, ensuring accurate and thorough analysis of all aspects of Domestic & Commercial claims, processes, and policy cover.
  • Develop and implement effective claims handling strategies, utilizing advanced negotiation skills to achieve settlement at no more than the maximum identified figure.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and coordination throughout the claims process.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and regulatory requirements, applying this knowledge to improve claims handling and settlement outcomes.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of training programs, sharing expertise and knowledge with colleagues to enhance their skills and capabilities.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in insurance claims handling, with a strong understanding of Domestic & Commercial claims processes and policy cover.
  • Advanced negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and develop effective solutions.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • ACII and ACILA qualifications or equivalent experience.
