About the Client

Our client is a charming and humorous individual who requires continuous supervision, care, and support. He enjoys playing with LEGO, watching TV, and visiting museums, particularly the Imperial War Museum. Despite his medical conditions, he is described as being the happiest person ever, with a quick sense of humor and a love for life.

Your Role

As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for ensuring our client's safety and well-being at all times. This will involve:

  • Accompanying him to the bathroom and supporting him during seizures
  • Responding to his needs and calling for assistance if necessary
  • Ensuring his medication is administered on time each morning
  • Providing support and companionship to enhance his quality of life

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in a similar care role
  • A willingness to provide holiday cover across the team
  • A commitment to long-term care for one client in a person-centered way
  • Reliability, non-judgmental attitude, caring nature, responsibility, and compassion
  • Commitment to confidentiality and treating the client with dignity and respect
