About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Physiotherapist to join our team as a Clinical Decision Making Lead in the Urgent Care Department at the University Hospital of North Midlands NHS Trust.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the clinical team in the Urgent Care Department, providing expert guidance and support to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Develop and implement clinical policies and procedures to improve patient outcomes and streamline departmental operations.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication.
  • Conduct regular audits and quality assurance activities to identify areas for improvement and implement changes.
  • Provide training and education to junior staff members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Registered Physiotherapist with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Postgraduate experience in a senior leadership role, preferably in a hospital setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, to meet the needs of the department.
