Team Structure: The NPD team consists of a robust group with five direct reports, all working collaboratively to achieve our goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of technologists in executing NPD and Extended Product Development (EPD) projects, contributing to the overall growth of the business.
  • Foster strong relationships with customers to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Collaborate with the Commercial department to develop customer-focused product ranges.
  • Represent the organization in customer presentations, showcasing innovative and commercially viable product ideas.
  • Engage in the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process to manage project workloads effectively.
  • Work closely with Implementation and Customer Technical Support Managers to ensure seamless product launches and address any quality concerns.
  • Participate in internal and external audits, providing insights into NPD processes and procedures.
  • Support optimization efforts to enhance product quality and profitability.
  • Develop a strategic NPD pipeline in collaboration with various stakeholders.
  • Establish a development cycle that includes supplier presentations to inform the business strategy.
  • Identify and activate product development plans that enhance our expertise in the beverage sector.
  • Manage project timelines for NPD and EPD initiatives, ensuring alignment with customer expectations.
  • Oversee a team of up to five technologists, prioritizing their professional development through regular feedback and performance evaluations.

Candidate Profile: The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in managing teams and projects, with a proven history of delivering NPD and EPD from concept to market. Experience in the beverage industry is preferred, along with a demonstrated ability to work effectively with retailers and brands. A creative and passionate approach to product development is essential.
