The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for an Order Coordinator to join our team to be based in the offices of our external logistics partner DHL. As our Order Coordinator, you'll receive and process orders, manage orders and ensure the delivery of outstanding customer service. Leading a team of 2-3 people. 

As an Order Coordinator, some of your responsibilities will include:

Using KP’s ERP system (JDE), to accurately manage the order administration processes and release to warehousing and transport functions, within agreed daily timelinesImplement any Sales and Operation Execution (S&OE) team business decisions and priorities within the order management processMaintaining good communications with DHL’s Operational contacts to ensure customer order processing is not adversely impacting in any way on delivery performance.Maintain good communication with KP factories to ensure finished goods inventory is available at EMG when required for order processingReporting and identifying root cause issues in the order management process, proposing relevant solutions and managing the improvement actions through to conclusion, to provide excellent customer service Delivery of continuing standardisation, efficiency, accuracy and automation across the order management process and with customersEnsuring order efficiency volumes, frequency etc are monitored and targets achieved or exceededEffective and accurate processing of NPD, pack changes, seasonal activities, shippers, aged stock clearance, product uplifts, customer specific activitiesNew recruit training
Escalation of process and JDE system enhancement needs to line manager or KP IT team.Day to day order management adjustment decisions, in line with S&OE guidance and prioritiesMaintaining own and colleagues ongoing levels of system and process trainingLine management - Lead a small team of 2-3 administrators.

Working hours

The working hours are Monday to Friday 8.00am-4pm with 45 minutes for lunch, but we are able to offer flexibility in terms of start and finish times. Weekends and Bank Holidays are to be worked on a rota basis across the team and the hours will be limited to the minimum. Time off in lieu will be offered for hours worked.

Key knowledge, skills and experience:

Line management experience.Previous experience of using a system for receiving and processing orders preferably JDE, or similar ERP systemExperience of dealing with customersThe ability to improve manual to automated processesExperience of working in a high pressured, busy environment and the ability to work on your own initiativeExcellent communication skillsStrong positive attitude, self-confident and resilientSelf-aware and a positive contributor into a team dynamicExcellent PC skills on all Microsoft packages (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
