Planning Manager Role

The ideal candidate will have demonstrable supply chain experience, preferably in a fast-moving consumer goods environment. SAP experience is beneficial but not essential. We want someone who will lead and role model to our core values - agile, responsible, excellent, passionate, and entrepreneurial.

Key responsibilities include managing production and network planners to ensure optimal inventory levels at minimal cost, adhering to planning policies. This involves planning production lines and the warehousing network for up to a year, ensuring NPD and new formats are supply-planned. The role also involves liaising with internal and external customers to maximise inbound service performance and includes a 'dotted-line' responsibility for site Schedulers.

Key performance indicators include executing planning processes to meet customer service levels, optimising efficiency, and managing capital limits. Manage KPIs and inventory policies to boost profitability and reduce finished goods working capital. Lead working capital reduction efforts, collaborating with finance, operations, and commercial teams. Align demand and supply plans with Relationship and Demand Planning Managers, addressing issues and driving resolution.
