Job Title: Support Worker - Homeless Housing Service

Location: Bristol (Travel between 5 sites)

Pay Rate: £12.56 per hour

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Support Worker to join our Level 2 Homeless Housing Service in Bristol. As a Support Worker, you will provide crucial support to individuals experiencing homelessness, helping them regain their independence and improve their quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver Comprehensive Support: Provide emotional and practical assistance to individuals confronting challenges related to housing, mental health, domestic violence, or substance abuse.
  • Develop Personalized Support Plans: Collaborate with clients to create tailored support plans that address their unique needs and goals.
  • Advocate for Clients: Connect clients with relevant services and resources, ensuring they receive the support they need to achieve stability and independence.
  • Maintain Accurate Records: Document client interactions and progress, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records are maintained.
Requirements:
  • Valid Driving License: Possess a valid driving license and access to your own vehicle.
  • Experience in Housing Support: Minimum of 6 months experience in housing, mental health, domestic violence, or substance abuse support.
  • Right to Work in the UK: Hold the right to work in the UK.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Shift Pattern:
  • Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, and Sunday
  • Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday
  • Weekday Hours: 19:00 - 01:00
  • Weekend Hours: 10:00 - 15:00
