As a key member of our Credit Risk team, you'll work collaboratively to develop, deliver, and monitor credit risk strategies that drive business growth and success.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Design and implement effective credit acquisition strategies, leveraging your analytical skills to drive business outcomes.
  2. Analyze credit acquisition processes to provide actionable insights and recommendations to credit management, optimizing decision-making.
  3. Monitor and report on motor credit risk performance, identifying areas for improvement and opportunities for growth.
  4. Develop and present high-quality credit risk-related metrics and insights to credit management, credit committees, and other stakeholders.
  5. Maintain and contribute to relevant credit policies, ensuring alignment with Group Credit Risk Standards and business objectives.
  6. Ensure compliance with prudent underwriting standards and collaborate with operations to manage motor bad debt effectively.
Requirements
  • Experience in designing and implementing credit acquisition strategies, including credit and affordability strategies, policies, underwriting, bureau data, and credit systems.
  • Strong coding skills, with experience using tools like SAS, SQL, Alteryx, Business Objects, or similar data analytical tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact and communicate complex information to senior management and non-credit colleagues.
  • Understanding and/or experience of credit scorecards in a retail or commercial environment.
  • Experience in consumer and commercial underwriting, credit bureau data, and reports, business accounts, etc.
