Job Title: Commercial Gas and Oil Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Commercial Gas and Oil Engineer to join our team at oilandgas. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for undertaking planned and reactive trade-related maintenance tasks, including gas and plumbing refurbishment, testing, and PPM work.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Undertake planned and reactive maintenance tasks within your area of expertise and skills set, allocated by the Scheduler and/or appropriate manager.
  2. Undertake gas and plumbing refurbishment tasks, including testing work on completion.
  3. Undertake testing and PPM work, ensuring all work is completed to a high standard.
  4. Order supplier parts via purchase order line, managing van stock as required.
  5. Participate in the out-of-hours call-out rota as designated.
  6. Provide recommendations and solution options to rectify faults and maintenance issues.
  7. Take measurements, estimate labour, and identify material requirements for follow-on works via the red reporting system.
  8. Provide support to other trades when required.
Requirements:
  1. Domestic and Commercial Gas ACS qualifications - essential.
  2. Basic competency in using technology, including email and internal software systems.
  3. Full driving licence - essential.
  4. Sound understanding of Health, Safety, and environmental legislation and working practices - essential.
  5. Ability to work at heights.
  6. Good communication skills (verbal and written) - essential.
  7. Ability to cover emergency call-outs, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays on a rota basis.
