Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Commercial Gas Engineer to join our team. As a key member, you will be responsible for the service, maintenance, and repair of commercial gas systems across multiple client sites in Sheffield and the surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities- Perform planned and reactive maintenance on commercial gas systems, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
- Keep accurate records of all maintenance work, including documentation and electronic reports.
- Carry out small installation works as required, collaborating with specialist sub-contractors and engineers from other disciplines.
- Escalate issues to the Supervisor/Contract Manager promptly, ensuring timely resolution.
- Participate in the out-of-hours call-out rota, attending emergency repair works as needed.
- Liaise with clients and internal teams to ensure seamless operation of the plant/area without disruption.
- Demonstrate expertise in commercial facilities maintenance, including traditional plant equipment and modern systems.
- Operate SMART devices and complete electronic documentation efficiently.
- Utilize strong fault-finding skills to resolve issues on commercial gas systems.
- Hold a valid UK Driving Licence.
- Possess Commercial Gas qualifications.
- Domestic Gas Qualifications - Desirable.
