Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Commercial Gas Engineer to join our team. As a key member, you will be responsible for the service, maintenance, and repair of commercial gas systems across multiple client sites in Sheffield and the surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Perform planned and reactive maintenance on commercial gas systems, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
  2. Keep accurate records of all maintenance work, including documentation and electronic reports.
  3. Carry out small installation works as required, collaborating with specialist sub-contractors and engineers from other disciplines.
  4. Escalate issues to the Supervisor/Contract Manager promptly, ensuring timely resolution.
  5. Participate in the out-of-hours call-out rota, attending emergency repair works as needed.
  6. Liaise with clients and internal teams to ensure seamless operation of the plant/area without disruption.
  7. Demonstrate expertise in commercial facilities maintenance, including traditional plant equipment and modern systems.
  8. Operate SMART devices and complete electronic documentation efficiently.
  9. Utilize strong fault-finding skills to resolve issues on commercial gas systems.
Requirements
  1. Hold a valid UK Driving Licence.
  2. Possess Commercial Gas qualifications.
  3. Domestic Gas Qualifications - Desirable.
