Key Responsibilities- Implement effective strategies to increase safety and reduce harm for victims and those supporting them.
- Deliver a high-quality, front-line service to victims of domestic abuse, prioritizing their needs and providing a premium service.
- Collaborate with multi-agency frameworks, including the MARAC and local partnership responses to domestic abuse, to ensure safety is central to all services.
- Knowledge of help-seeking barriers and support needs of victims of domestic abuse.
- Understanding of domestic abuse, its impact on victims and their children, and the principles of risk assessment, safety planning, and risk management.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and advocacy skills, with the ability to interact with a range of agencies and individuals.
- Strong crisis management skills and the ability to deal with stressful and difficult situations.
