We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our team as a Domestic Violence Specialist Advisor, providing expert support to high-risk survivors of domestic abuse. This role involves working closely with other professionals to ensure the safety and well-being of our clients, and developing effective partnerships with statutory, private, and voluntary agencies to address the issue of domestic abuse.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced individual to make a real difference in the lives of survivors of domestic abuse. As a Domestic Violence Specialist Advisor, you will be responsible for holding a caseload of high-risk survivors, providing medium to long-term support based on thorough risk assessment and individual safety and support planning. You will also work within a multi-agency framework to keep safety central to all services for victims of domestic abuse.

To be successful in this role, you will have a good understanding of domestic abuse, including its impact on victims and their children. You will also need to understand the principles of risk assessment, safety planning, and risk management for victims of domestic abuse and their children, as well as safeguarding issues and the legal responsibilities surrounding these.
