Main Responsibilities
In your role as a Band 5 Emergency Care Nurse with Medacs Healthcare, you will:
- Continuously monitor and provide care for patients in critical or unstable conditions.
- Support emergency and planned admissions, ensuring clear communication of clinical information to patients and families.
- Prepare and check necessary equipment for medical procedures.
- Adhere to professional nursing standards and guidelines.
- Perform blood draws and monitor vital signs as required throughout your shift.
- Develop care plans, conduct assessments, and facilitate referrals.
- Manage patient admissions and discharges efficiently.
Qualifications and Certifications
Essential Requirements:
- Registered Nurse qualification.
- A minimum of 2 years of post-graduate nursing experience.
- At least 6 months of recent experience within the NHS in the last 3 years.
- Successful completion of an enhanced background check.
