Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Emergency Response Technician to join our team at Emergency Response Systems. As an Ambulance Care Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and responding to emergency situations.

Main Responsibilities
  • Respond to emergency calls and provide patient care in a variety of settings, including emergency medical services and urgent care facilities.
  • Assess and manage patient conditions, using clinical guidelines and protocols to ensure the best possible outcomes.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care and support.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and community members to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical practices, technologies, and research to provide evidence-based care and improve patient outcomes.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures to enhance patient care and safety.
  • Collaborate with other departments and teams to ensure effective communication and coordination of patient care.
  • Provide education and training to patients, families, and healthcare professionals on emergency medical services and patient care.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of emergency response plans and protocols to ensure effective response to emergency situations.
Requirements
  • Current certification as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in emergency medical services or a related field.
  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge of emergency medical procedures and protocols.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and make sound decisions in high-pressure situations.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to analyze complex situations and develop effective solutions.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to patient-centered care and safety.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced certification in emergency medical services or a related field.
  • Experience working in a leadership or supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of emergency medical services policies and procedures.
  • Ability to speak multiple languages, with a focus on serving diverse patient populations.
